Vision for Education are seeking to appoint experienced SEN TAs to work in our local SEN schools in Blackpool and surrounding areas. This is an immediate start and will be working on a flexible basis.
About the role
The ideal candidate will be an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant, working in Blackpool and surrounding areas. This is an immediate start and will be working on a flexible basis.
The role will be to assist and support in Key Stage 1-4 classes either as a Teaching Assistant or delivering pre-set work in the absence of the teacher. You do not need to hold a teaching qualification, but must demonstrate that you have previously worked with children in any previous role (teaching, youth worker, sports coach, support worker, summer camps, voluntary etc).
Due to the nature of the additional needs of the students you will be working with, an appreciation/experience of good behaviour management skills are a necessity for this role.
About the school
The roles will be undertaken at positions at SEN schools across Blackpool and surrounding areas. Depending on the roles you require, we can offer ad-hoc, day to day work alongside longer term and temporary to permanent role options.
Due to the rural location of some of the SEN settings, driving is advantageous as public transport links can be limited.
Requirements
- Have experience working in a SEN setting or mainstream setting with SEN students
- Hold a minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
- Have excellent behaviour management skills
- Be a confident communicator, able to use your own initiative when required

Salary
£70 to £85 per day
