SEN Teaching Assistant – Romford

Vision for Education are currently recruiting a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils in a welcoming and inclusive school in Romford.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children with additional needs and making a real difference in their educational journey.

The Role:

• Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEN (including ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties)
• Support the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities
• Help manage behaviour and promote positive engagement in the classroom
• Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
• Work closely with the SENCO and wider school staff to implement support plans

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Experience working with children with SEN (school, care, or similar setting)
• A patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
