SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Crawley (Driving essential)
Salary: £450–£500 per week
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Long term role (with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate)

The Role

We are looking for a compassionate and reliable SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive classroom team. In this role, you will work closely with the class teacher to support students with speech, language and communication needs, and a range of learning difficulties. This long-term role is available for an immediate start and will run through to the end of the academic year.

This welcoming SEN school, located near Crawley, supports Secondary aged pupils and places high value on meeting each child’s individual needs, including personal care. Staff frequently praise the positive, inclusive atmosphere and the strong support offered across the team.

Requirements

To be successful in this SEN Teaching Assistant role, you should have:

• A friendly and nurturing approach
• A patient and caring nature
• Good organisation skills and flexibility

You must also have:

• Driving License and access to own vehicle
• Experience working with children with additional needs or relevant qualifications is advantageous
