The Role

Vision for Education is looking for a compassionate and reliable SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team on a supply basis. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll support pupils with Autism, SEMH needs, and a range of learning difficulties, working closely with the class teacher.

In this SEN Teaching Assistant role, you will provide 1:1 and small group support, promote independence and wellbeing, and assist with personal care where required.

Requirements

To be successful in this SEN Teaching Assistant role, you should have:

• A friendly and nurturing approach
• A patient and caring nature
• Good organisation skills and flexibility
• A genuine passion for working in education

Nice to have:

• Experience working with children with SEN needs
• Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant Qualification
• Driving License and access to own vehicle
