The Opportunity
We’re seeking a caring, committed and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our welcoming schools across East Sussex. In this rewarding role, you’ll work closely alongside the class teacher to support children with a variety of needs, including Autism, social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) challenges, and learning difficulties.
From offering one-to-one guidance to encouraging small groups to thrive, you’ll be making a real impact – helping every pupil to build confidence, develop skills and reach their full potential.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of SEN teaching assistant you will have the following;
- Comfortable working with children of all ages
- Experience of working with pupils with SEND
- A passion for working in education.
- A caring, patient nature
- Friendly and nurturing qualities
- Drives- desired but not essential
