SEND Teacher

You will be required to deliver quality lessons within a diverse classroom setting while providing guidance and support to a variety of different learning needs. Students with special educational needs require consistency and continuity, meaning it is essential that our staff are reliant and trustworthy individuals.

About the role

Full Time (Monday – Friday)

Start date: Immediate

£120 - £220 p/d

Role requirements:

The applicant is required to hold a UK QTS qualification and have previous experience working with students with special educational needs.

You will be required to deliver quality lessons within a diverse classroom setting while providing guidance and support to a variety of different learning needs. Students with special educational needs require consistency and continuity, meaning it is essential that our staff are reliant and trustworthy individuals.

This school provides specialist education for children and young people with SEMH, ASC, ADHD and Communication and Interaction difficulties. The school has a recent Ofsted provider rating of ‘Good’ and is passionate about providing the best quality of education and care to their students. The right candidate must in turn, share these school values.

To be considered for the position you must:

• Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience working with children with a variety of SEND.
• Have previous experience within a similar specialist setting or strong transferable experience from a mainstream setting.
• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of SEND Teachers and support staff.
• Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
