Vision for Education are working with a specialist school in Peterborough who are looking for a Teacher/Tutor to work with young people within a post-16 provision. This role will be full time and will begin in September 2023.

About the role

We’re looking for a calm, nurturing Teacher/Tutor to teach within this well-resourced, specialist provision in Peterborough. The perfect candidate will be motivated and calm, and strong behaviour management skills due to the complex nature of the students' additional needs. This is an opportunity to make a real difference to the education of a young persons life, along with the chance to build great relationships and work with an amazing team.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of SEND Post 16 Tutor you will:
  • Ideally have experience working with children with SEND and challenging behaviour but this is not essential
  • Be able to communicate effectively within a team
  • Have a calm and caring nature

Salary

Depending on experience

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have a DBS or be willing to process one with us
