JOB TITLE: *SEMH Learning Support* LOCATION: *Cramlington, Northumberland (Full Time)* SALARY: *£350-450 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)* DATE: *May 2024 onwards (Long Term Role)*

About the role

This Secondary and Post-16 SEND school, based in Cramlington, Northumberland is looking to appoint a passionate SEMH Learning Support Mentor to work in Key Stage 3 and 4 classes on a full-time basis. Working in this Secondary and Post-16 SEND school as part of an established team, the desired SEMH Learning Support Mentor will be working on a small group sized basis with pupils with SEND including SEMH, Autism, ADHD, Speech and Language Difficulties as well as Attachment and Trauma. This full time SEMH Learning Support Mentor role is long term from May ongoing with the possibility of a permanent vacancy for the right person.

The desired SEMH Learning Support worker will have;

  • Experience of working with primary or secondary school aged children
  • Experience of working with pupils with SEND
  • A passion for the progress of SEND secondary school pupils
  • An ability to work as part of a team
  • An ability to deal with fast paced situations.
