Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a Secondary SEMH Teacher to work in a local SEMH school, starting in May 2022.

About the role

Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a Secondary SEMH Teacher to work in a local SEMH school, starting in May 2022. Working on a full-time basis, the school welcome applications from both newly qualified and experienced teachers. Working across the school, this will be a varied role that will require an individual who is flexible and able to think on their feet. The successful candidate will be patient and understanding and have experience working with students with trauma based behaviour.

Based in Spilsby, this smaller than average SEMH school is an inclusive environment that caters for children with a wide range of abilities. Requirements

To be considered for the role of Secondary SEMH Teacher you will:
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have experience working with students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs
  • Have some knowledge or previous experience of Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
  • Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff

Salary

£100 to £130 per day

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have experience working with students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs
