Are you an organized, dynamic individual with a passion for education and administrative excellence? We are seeking a School Administrator to join our team in Richmond, County Durham, supporting a local trust dedicated to fostering a nurturing and supportive learning environment for our students.

About the role

  • Manage the day-to-day administrative operations of the school, including record-keeping, correspondence, and scheduling.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for parents, students, and staff, providing exceptional customer service and resolving inquiries promptly.
  • Coordinate meetings, events, and appointments, ensuring effective communication and logistical support.
  • Maintain accurate student records in compliance with regulatory requirements and assist with the preparation of reports and documentation as needed.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to support the smooth functioning of academic and extracurricular activities.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of administrative policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Secondary School Administrator you will:
  • Previous experience in school administration or a related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A commitment to upholding the values and mission of the school and trust.
  • Relevant qualifications in administration or education administration are desirable but not essential.

Salary

£13 to £13 per hour

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
