The role

Vision for Education is working alongside a fantastic school in the Scunthorpe area who are looking to recruit a Teacher of Science to start in September.

We are seeking a full time, long-term Teacher of Science with excellent subject knowledge to join this dedicated Science department. This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional teacher with the qualifications and skills to teach and inspire the students. The ability to teach Physics and Chemistry to at least GCSE level is desired.

The school would welcome applications from a newly qualified teacher or experienced teacher and they provide an extensive and highly supportive programme for Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and a diverse range of professional improvement opportunities for more experienced staff. If you are passionate about Science and enthusiastic about working with fantastic young people, this could be an ideal opportunity.

Requirements
To be considered for the position of Science Teacher, you will:

• Excellent communication and inter UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Set high expectations for students' behaviour.
• Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
• · Have a genuine desire to become part of an outstanding Science department
