Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a Teacher of Science to work with one of our partner schools in Tameside to cover a long-term absence from April 2022 onwards.

About the role

You will be joining a strong Science department so the desired Teacher must have experience of working within a similar setting and be comfortable teaching across Biology, Chemistry and Physics at Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4).

The school is located in a beautiful setting and has been rated as either 'Good' or 'Outstanding' in recent Ofsted reports.

The successful applicant will join a school where they will be supported in a positive environment by a passionate management team, and will work alongside some excellent practitioners, who put children at the heart of everything they do. The school has been noted for its outstanding relationships between staff and pupils, which has a good foundation of mutual respect and understanding.

Behaviour at the school is good and students have been noted as being courteous to one another.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Science Teacher you will:
  • Be a passionate and innovative Teacher of Science with KS3 and KS4 experience
  • Have high expectations of students and staff alike
  • Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons

Salary

£500 to £825 per week

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • QTS/QTLS
  • Relevant school experience
