Vision for Education is looking to appoint 2 Reception Teaching Assistants (TA) to join our successful supply team and work in a friendly primary school in Consett.
About the role
This is a full-time supply TA role, which will commence in September 2022 for the full academic year. Working as part of a dynamic and creative team in a primary school you will be providing 1:1 support with phonics, maths and other subjects alongside small group support needed. Previous experience supporting SEND children is ideal. This role will be full time, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 15.30pm.
About the school
You will be joining a strong team in the Early Years provision. The school provides good education to children. It is an average sized primary school and is located just outside Consett town centre.
Requirements
- Hold a minimum of a Level 2 qualification in Supporting Children and Learning or Childcare.
- Have experience of working as a Teaching Assistant in a school environment.
- Be experienced in working with smaller nurture groups to boost attainment.
- Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff.
- Possess experience working with SEND children on a 1:1 basis.

Salary
£10 to £11 per hour
- Hold a minimum of a Level 2 qualification in Supporting Children and Learning or Childcare.
