Vision for Education are seeking to employ a reception teacher to work at a highly rated Primary School in Newcastle.

About the role

This is a full-time role, commencing in May 2022 and will be continuing for the rest of the academic year. The working hours for this role will be 08:30-15:30, term time only. This class teacher role is based within a fantastic provision with excellent facilities and an outstanding teaching team. The reception class is larger than average, consisting of 28 pupils of which the class teacher will also be working alongside two teaching assistants (TA’s). The successful candidate must be enthusiastic and able to provide engaging activities in accordance with the Early Years Statutory Framework.

About the school

The Primary School is based within an excellent location with good transport routes. The Head Teacher looks forward to welcoming both ECT’s and experienced teachers to apply for this role. Ideally, experience within Early Years would be beneficial, however, the Head Teacher is open to providing additional support and training if required.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Reception Teacher you will:
  • • Hold a minimum of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • • Preferably have experience of working within Early Years, although not essential.
  • • Have a genuine desire to work as part of a motivated team.
  • • Be able to complete tasks independently as well as part of a team.
  • • Be committed to providing outstanding provision for the pupils within your care.

Salary

£100 to £213 per day

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
