Vision for Education are seeking a dynamic and engaging teacher to work in a school in Scunthorpe, which specialises in the education of students who have been temporarily or permanently excluded from their mainstream school.
About the role
As a long term class teacher you will be required to plan and deliver lessons to national curriculum standards, complete all marking, attend staff meetings and potentially school parents evenings. You will also be required to mentor and guide the teaching assistant/s within the classroom. This is a long term position that may become permanent for the right candidate.

The school covers KS1 to KS4 with some students being on part time, timetables between their mainstream school and other alternative provisions. Some children have EHCP’s for additional needs such as SEMH, ADHD and Autism.

Requirements
- Full UK QTS
- A strong knowledge of general KS2 UK curriculum
- Available full time on a long term basis from September 2022
- Ability to commit to any necessary extra responsibilities such as staff meetings
- Experience working in a similar setting
- Open to teaching KS2/KS3 aged students who are learning to a KS2 level
- Able to positively respond to behaviours that challenge
- To help students adjust to their settings, recognise signs of distress and offer support
- Help students to build their confidence and self-esteem.

Salary
£110 to £189 per day
- Full UK Teacher Status is a requirement
