Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant – Cwmbran

Vision for Education is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant to work within primary and specialist schools across Cwmbran. This exciting opportunity allows you to gain practical experience while supporting children’s learning, emotional wellbeing and behavioural development.

In this role, you will support pupils with a variety of additional learning needs, including autism, ADHD, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs. You will deliver 1:1 and small-group interventions, helping learners stay engaged, develop emotional regulation, manage behaviour and build positive relationships within a nurturing school environment.

This position is perfect for psychology graduates aiming to build experience before progressing into careers such as teaching, educational psychology, counselling, mental health support or therapy. You will put your knowledge of child development, behaviour and wellbeing into practice, making a meaningful difference to pupils’ lives.
