About the role

Vision for Education is looking to appoint highly motivated Progress Teacher to work in an 'Outstanding' College Wigan. The college requires specialists who are looking for full-time roles and have the empathy and compassion required to support young adults with barriers to learning.

The role - This role is a wonderful opportunity to join an Ofsted 'Outstanding' college, with fantastic facilities and resources for the students. The college is looking for candidates who have experience of working with children on a 1-1, small group, and whole class support.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Progress Tutor you will:
  • Be able to work 1:1 with students who may demonstrate challenging behaviour and who will have Special Educational Needs.
  • Have a proactive, warm and caring personality.
  • Have a genuine desire to help students with complex needs.

Salary

£70 to £120 per day

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Have a 2-6 weeks relevant school-based experience.
