Vision for Education are recruiting for enthusiastic candidates who possess a positive attitude and the ability to create a safe and nurturing learning environment to work as a Primary Teaching Assistant in SEND education in Bristol.
About the role
We have full time and part time roles available working alongside and supporting the class teacher to promote learning, engagement and interaction of all students. You will work with the teacher to ensure pupils are supported to access the curriculum, you will also assist with the development and implementation of Education Health Care Plans whilst establishing positive and constructive relationships with the pupils. To assist the teacher you will use strategies to support pupil progress, promote good behaviour, and provide detailed feedback of pupil development and achievements.

A variety of dedicated SEND schools in Bristol for young people that have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) for Autism and other complex needs. We work with a number of client Primary Schools across Bristol which have an excellent reputation and are passionate about providing the best possible education for children and young people.
Requirements
- Positive and encouraging attitude.
- Have a desire to engage and support children and young people in learning and education.
- A kind, caring nature and passionate about helping children and young people to achieve their full potential.
- Be committed and able to work Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 15:30, term time only.
- Hold a DBS on the update service, or be willing to process a new one through us.
About Vision for Education
Salary
£70 to £75 per day
- Previous experience of working in an educational or care setting with young people or adults with learning difficulties.
