About the role
Primary Supply Teacher
Manchester, Tameside – Ashton-Under-Lyne and surrounding areas.
Start Date: April (after Easter).
Contract: Long-term with additional daily supply opportunities available.
Salary: £600 – £800 per week (dependent on experience and pay scale).
Qualification: QTS required.
The Role
We are looking for adaptable and committed Primary Supply Teachers to support a network of schools across Tameside, Ashton-under-Lyne and surrounding areas.
This is a great opportunity for teachers who want flexible, short-term teaching work, whether that’s a few days a week or full-time availability. You’ll have the chance to work in a variety of primary settings, covering classes across Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
In this role, you will step into classrooms to deliver set work, keep pupils on track, and maintain a calm and productive learning environment. Schools value supply staff who can hit the ground running, follow school routines, and provide a consistent experience for pupils.
This position suits teachers who enjoy variety, are confident in new environments, and want to build experience across different schools without long-term commitment.
Requirements

- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Have experience teaching within UK primary education.
- Be comfortable covering lessons across different age groups and abilities.
- Show strong behaviour management and classroom presence.

- Be open to short-term, ad-hoc or day-to-day assignments.
