About the role
Role: KS1 Teacher.
Location: Manchester, Longsight.
Start Date: April after Easter.
Contract: Long-term with Daily Opportunities available.
Salary: £600 – £800 per week (dependent on experience and scale point).
Qualification: QTS required.
The School and Role
Vision for Education is looking for a KS1 Teacher to join a primary school in Manchester from April on a long-term basis.
The school is looking for a reliable and committed teacher who enjoys working with younger pupils and understands how important the early years of primary school are for building confidence and a love of learning.
In this role, you will plan and deliver KS1 lessons based on the National Curriculum, supporting pupils as they develop key skills in phonics, reading, writing, and maths. You will work alongside Teaching Assistants and other staff to make sure pupils feel supported and ready to learn.
This role would suit a KS1 Teacher, Year 1 Teacher, Year 2 Teacher, or Primary Teacher with Key Stage 1 experience who is looking for a long-term teaching role in a Manchester primary school.
Requirements
To be considered for this KS1 Teacher role, you will need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE with QTS.
- Experience teaching Key Stage 1 in a UK primary school.
- Good knowledge of the KS1 National Curriculum and phonics.
- The ability to plan and deliver clear, structured lessons.
- Strong classroom management and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils.
- A reliable and professional approach and the ability to work well with Teaching Assistants and school staff.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
