About the role
Role: KS2 Teacher.
Location: Tameside, OL6.
Start Date: April after Easter.
Contract: Long-term with Daily Opportunities available.
Salary: £600 – £800 per week (dependent on experience and scale point).
Qualification: QTS required.
The School and Role
Vision for Education is recruiting a dedicated KS2 Teacher to join a supportive and welcoming primary school in Tameside starting in April on a long-term basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Primary Teacher with Key Stage 2 experience who is passionate about helping pupils develop confidence, independence, and strong academic foundations.
In this role, you will deliver engaging and well-structured KS2 lessons aligned with the National Curriculum, supporting pupils’ progress across core subjects while creating a positive and inclusive learning environment. You will work closely with Teaching Assistants and school staff to ensure all pupils receive the support they need to succeed.
This position is ideal for a KS2 Teacher, Primary Teacher, or Upper Key Stage 2 specialist looking for a stable long-term teaching opportunity in a Manchester primary school.
Requirements
To be considered for this KS2 Teacher role, you must have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE with QTS.
- Recent experience teaching Key Stage 2 in a UK primary school.
- Strong knowledge of the KS2 National Curriculum, particularly English and Maths.
- The ability to deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that support pupil progress.
- Good classroom management and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
- A reliable, flexible approach and the ability to work effectively with Teaching Assistants and school staff.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
