The School and Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 4 Class Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Brighton. This is a part-time role (2.5 days per week) to cover maternity leave, making it ideal for an experienced teacher or someone looking for a flexible teaching opportunity.
As a Year 4 teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons across the curriculum, assess pupil progress, and create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment. You will play an important role in supporting pupils’ transition into Key Stage 2 and encouraging their academic, social, and emotional development.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, preferably Year 4

A creative, enthusiastic, and flexible approach to teaching

Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire pupils
