The role
Vision for Education is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Primary School Teacher to work within a cluster of fast-paced but supportive primary schools in the Newport area. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator who is confident delivering the Welsh primary curriculum and dedicated to supporting pupils’ academic progress, wellbeing, and personal development.
You will play a key role in creating engaging learning experiences, delivering high-quality lessons, and contributing to the wider school community. This role is ideal for teachers who thrive in dynamic environments and want to make a real impact while developing their career.
Key responsibilities

Plan, deliver, and assess lessons in line with the Welsh National Curriculum.

Create an inclusive, positive, and engaging classroom environment.

Adapt teaching to support a wide range of learning needs and abilities.

Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support pupil development.

Contribute to school events, extracurricular activities, and wider school life across the cluster of schools.
Requirements
The ideal Primary School Teacher will have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).

Strong understanding of the Welsh primary curriculum and effective teaching strategies.

A passion for supporting young learners to reach their full potential.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

A positive, proactive attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Ability to drive – preferred but not essential.
