Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a Cover Supervisor to join our successful supply teaching team and to work in local primary schools across the Peterborough area for a start in September 2022.

About the role

The desired Cover Supervisor will be supported by a passionate management team, and will work alongside some excellent practitioners, who put children at the heart of everything they do. Cover supervisors do not require Qualified Teacher Status. The role involves delivering pre-set work for classes with varying-abilities. The Cover supervisor role is ideal for those looking to go into teaching. They provide a perfect opportunity to gain experience, giving you a great insight into working in schools.

About the school

We work with a number of excellent schools across the Peterborough area who need support with staffing requirements to ensure the best education for young people. This cover can be day to day ad-hoc cover, short term cover and long term cover.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Primary Cover Supervisor you will:
  • To have a degree
  • To have experience supervising and teaching primary age children
  • To have good classroom and behaviour management skills

Salary

£85 to £110 per day

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • To have experience supervising and teaching primary age children
