Are you a passionate and creative Performing Arts Teacher looking for flexible work in Stoke-on-Trent? ABC Teachers are currently recruiting for a Performing Arts Supply Teacher to work across a range of secondary schools in the Stoke-on-Trent area

About the role

This is an excellent opportunity for both qualified teachers (QTS) and individuals with relevant performing arts teaching or industry experience who are looking to inspire the next generation through drama, dance or music.

As a Performing Arts Supply Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and dynamic lessons in Drama, Dance, or Music
  • Adapt to different school environments and student abilities
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
  • Follow school policies and ensure effective classroom management
  • Encourage creativity, confidence, and student participation

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Performing Arts Teacher you will:
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or have relevant teaching/tutoring/industry experience in performing arts
  • Have experience working with secondary school students (KS3–KS4 preferred)
  • Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills
  • Be adaptable, reliable, and enthusiastic
  • Hold (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS check

Salary

£90 to £150 per day

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or have relevant teaching/tutoring/industry experience in performing arts
