About the role
As a PE Teacher, you will deliver engaging and high-quality Physical Education lessons in the absence of the regular teacher or as part of a longer-term placement. You will promote participation, teamwork, and physical development while maintaining high standards of behaviour and learning.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and potentially KS5)
- Encourage student participation, teamwork, and physical development
- Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners
- Maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all physical activities
- Manage behaviour in line with school policies
- Assess and monitor student progress where required
- Provide feedback to teaching staff and departments
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (essential)
- Experience teaching Physical Education in UK secondary schools
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to deliver a range of sports and physical activities
- Flexibility and adaptability across different school environments
- A genuine passion for PE and student development
