Vision for Education is currently recruiting for a passionate and experienced Part Time Teaching Assistant to support local primary schools in the Peterborough. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Teaching Assistant, Classroom Assistant, Learning Support Assistant (LSA), or SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding opportunity that could result in a long-term role in a supportive primary school environment.

The Role

As a Part Time Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Be available between 8:30am -3:30pm on a part-time basis
• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging, high-quality lessons across the primary curriculum
• Provide 1:1 support or small group interventions, including supporting pupils with SEN or additional needs
• Assist with literacy and numeracy development in KS1 and KS2
• Encourage pupils’ independence, social skills, and emotional development

• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, Classroom Assistant, or Learning Support Assistant in a primary school
  AND/OR
• A relevant qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
