Vision for Education are looking to recruit a Learning Support Mentor to work with young people that have Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties, that are aged 12-16.
About the role
You will be working as a Learning Support Mentor and be attached to a tutor group of young people that strugle to regulate their own behaviour and emtions. The ideal candidate will become a support for their tutor group in both their academic and emotional progress.
About the school
This is a specialist school for young people that have been unable to cope in a mainstream and have been given an Education, Helath and Care Plan for their Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties . The school has class sizes of a maximum of ten students and they are heavily invested in developing the wellbeing and self-esteem of these young people.

- Experience of working with young people that can struggle with their behaviour
- A caring and empathetic approach to mental health

- The desire to make a difference in the lives of young people that might not have had the best start in life
About Vision for Education
Salary
£350 to £350 per week
- Experience of working with young people or adults with additional needs
