Vision for Education are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to work on a full-time, long-term supply basis starting in April 2026.

The role is based at a secondary academy and will involve delivering engaging Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher who is looking for a stable, long-term position within a supportive school environment.

The ability to teach Computer Science would be highly desirable, although this is not essential.

The role

The successful Maths Teacher will:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons that meet the needs of all learners

  • Teach Maths across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential)

  • Support the delivery of Computer Science lessons where appropriate (desirable)

  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively and maintain high expectations

  • Assess, track, and report on pupil progress

  • Work collaboratively with the Maths department and wider school staff

Requirements

To be considered for the Maths Teacher role, you will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification

  • Have experience teaching Maths in a secondary school setting

  • Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for Maths education

  • Have excellent classroom management skills

  • Be adaptable, reliable, and committed to long-term supply work

  • Have the ability to teach Computer Science (desirable but not essential)
