Vision for Education are looking to appoint a well-qualified and passionate teacher of Mathematics who can deliver high quality learning across all areas of the mathematics curriculum.

About the role

The role is to cover KS3 & KS4 Maths, this post provides an excellent opportunity for an ECT to develop their career as well as more experienced teachers. The successful Mathematics Teacher will have: the ability to inspire, motivate, challenge, and support our students and parents. The ability, drive, and passion to raise standards in teaching and learning and an understanding of how to bring about rapid and sustained improvement in student outcomes. You will also have a commitment to contributing to extra-curricular activities and a commitment to your own professional development.

About the school

This is a large 11-18, mixed, specialist Maths and Computing Academy of 2,319 students (including 386 in the sixth form).

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Mathematics Teacher you will:
  • General Maths Specialist.
  • Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.

Salary

£130 to £160 per day

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
