Vision for Education are looking for a Mathematic Intervention Teacher to join our large and successful team of supply teachers in the Durham local authority.

About the role

This role is a unique and exciting opportunity to work across secondary schools in Durham allowing you to put your excellent mathematics knowledge to use assisting small groups of pupils to improve their mathematics ability. This role is ideal for experienced teachers who want to expand their teaching experiences or newly qualified teachers wanting to dive head first into a rewarding and satisfying role. For newly qualified teachers this is an excellent way to entre the work force and gain valuable teaching experience in a wide range of schools. This role will involve working across key stage 3 and 4.

They are a well respected school in the Durham local authority and welcome supply staff openly to assist in the daily running of the school. The school expects a high level of professionalism and provide support to those who join their staff.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Mathematics Intervention Teacher (Secondary) you will:
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team.
  • Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.

Salary

£105 to £213 per day

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
