Vision for Education are seeking Level 3 Teaching Assistants to work within a SEND school in Birmingham, West Midlands.

The school - The school is a supportive and inclusive SEND setting based in Birmingham. The setting is committed to providing high-quality education and care tailored to the individual needs of their pupils, academically, socially, and emotionally whilst ensuring a safe and caring environment.

About the Role –

• To deliver engaging, personalised activities that reflect each pupil’s abilities, interests, and individual needs, adapting materials whenever required.
• Work effectively alongside teachers and other professionals across the school to ensure smooth and consistent support.
• Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment, helping both pupils and staff when needed.
• Keep up to date with each pupil’s routines and support requirements to promote a calm, stable, and consistent school day.

We would love to hear from you if you:

• Have previous experience working with children and young people with a range of special educational needs.
• Suitable qualifications such as Youth Work, Health and Social Care or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools are desired.
• Have strong communications skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with students.
• Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
