Contract Type: Full-Time (Monday to Friday, Term Time Only)

Vision for Education is seeking a dedicated Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Romford, providing 1:1 support to a pupil with additional needs. This full-time role is ideal for someone confident in adapting strategies to meet individual learning and emotional needs.

The Role:

• Providing 1:1 support to a pupil with identified SEN (e.g., ASD, ADHD, or SEMH)

• Supporting the pupil’s academic, social, and emotional development

• Working closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to adapt learning tasks and monitor progress

• Building a positive, trusting relationship that enables the pupil to succeed in the classroom

The Ideal Candidate:

• Holds a Level 2 or 3 TA qualification (or equivalent)

• Has previous experience working in a primary school setting

• Confident supporting children with SEN on a 1:1 basis

• Has excellent communication and behaviour management skills

• Is patient, proactive, and passionate about inclusive education

• Holds an enhanced DBS on the update service (or is willing to apply)
