Vision for Education are working with a specialist school in Cambridge who are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to work within a classroom setting. This role is full time starting ASAP and ongoing in September.

About the role

Are you a dedicated and hardworking individual with a passion for helping others? Vision for Education are looking for a calm, nurturing Learning Support Assistant to support within this well-resourced, specialist provision in Cambridge. The perfect candidate will be motivated, calm and professional, ideally with knowledge of differing SEND provision and strong behaviour management skills due to the complex nature of the students' additional needs. This post would suit a patient, caring and calm individual with a passion for supporting young children.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Learning Support Assistant you will:
  • Be resilient, engaging and friendly
  • Have a range of behaviour management skills and be able to adapt learning methods to meet the needs of pupils
  • To be able to successfully work within a team

Salary

£260 to £340 per week

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Hold a DBS on the update service, or be willing to process one with us
  • Have some experience or knowledge of working with SEN children in the last 2 years
