Vision for Education are looking to appoint a primary phase Learning Support Assistant to work at a lovely primary school in Weston-Super-Mare.

About the role

The successful Learning Support assistant will be a passionate and proactive individual, capable of building good relationships with pupils and staff. As a qualified Learning Support Assistant, you will support children with Cognition and Learning or Social, Emotional and behavioural needs and provide support with learning/behaviour and complete targeted interventions identified to meet the children’s needs. The successful candidate must have good levels of English and Maths and have the ability to work well within a team.

The school seeks to ensure that teaching and learning is of the highest quality and offer CPD to all staff to support their growth and development as excellent practitioners.


To be considered for the role of Learning Support Assistant you will:
  • Have experience working within a primary school.
  • Hold a minimum Level 2 childcare qualification

£65 to £85 per day

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Level 2 Teaching and Learning Certificate
