Vision for Education are recruiting dedicated Learning Support Assistants to work in a range of primary and SEND school settings.
This opportunity is ideal for individuals looking to begin or develop their career as a Learning Support Assistant. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a key role in helping children access education, build confidence, and feel supported throughout the school day.
As a Learning Support Assistant, your responsibilities may include:

Working as a Learning Support Assistant providing 1:1 support or assisting small groups

Helping pupils with additional needs engage in lessons and school activities

Supporting behaviour, emotional regulation, and social development as a Learning Support Assistant

Assisting teachers with classroom preparation and daily routines

Encouraging independence and positive learning experiences

Acting as a consistent, caring presence in your role as a Learning Support Assistant
Every day is different, and as a Learning Support Assistant, you will gain valuable, hands-on experience supporting children with a wide range of needs including SEND, SEMH, autism, ADHD, and complex learning difficulties.
Training and Development for Learning Support Assistants
No prior school experience is required to become a Learning Support Assistant. We will support you by providing:

Courses in SEND, safeguarding, behaviour management, and classroom support

Ongoing CPD to help you grow in your role as a Learning Support Assistant

Paid school placements to build your confidence and experience as a Learning Support Assistant
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for individuals who want to succeed as a Learning Support Assistant and make a genuine difference.
The ideal Learning Support Assistant will:

Have a passion for supporting children and young people

Be patient, adaptable, and enthusiastic about working as a Learning Support Assistant

Have experience working with children or in support roles (ideal but not essential)

Be willing to complete training to develop as a Learning Support Assistant

Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one (we will support you through this process)
