A medium-sized Infants and Junior setting situated in Alexandra Park are seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join their team immediately, for the remainder of the academic year.

The role will involve being class-based, supporting a child in Lower Key Stage 2. The suitable candidate must have experience in supporting children that display behaviours as a result of experiencing trauma. A crucial part of the role is to encourage the child to forge relationships with other children, and to encourage social interaction both in and out of the classroom. A consistent approach and a resilient mindset is required when in role.

Working hours are 0830-1530

The school is accessible from both Alexandra Park and Wood Green station

Requirements

The desired Learning Support Assistant will have;

- A resilient and dedicated work ethic

- Experience of supporting children with trauma

- Two Professional references
