We are looking for driven and resilient Learning support assistants to work in a cluster of highly regarded Primary Schools in the Newport area.

About the role

Learning Support Assistant – Newport

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young learners? We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and caring Learning Support Assistant to work across a group of welcoming and inclusive primary schools in the Newport area. This role involves delivering tailored support to pupils both on a one-to-one basis and in small group settings. Whether you’re guiding individual progress or helping small groups thrive, your input will play a vital role in their learning journey.

This opportunity includes both full-time positions (8:30 AM – 3:30 PM) and flexible AM/PM options, ideal for fitting around other commitments.

Requirements
The ideal Learning Support Assistant will have:
• Experience supporting primary school-aged pupils
• A background in 1:1 intervention or small group work
• An understanding of how to support pupils with a range of learning needs
• The ability to encourage and motivate young learners
• A collaborative and flexible approach to working within school teams
