Vision for Education are looking for Learning Support assistants for a highly regarded Newport Primary School with full and part time options.

About the role

Learning Support Assistant – Newport

Are you passionate about supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in an inclusive and forward-thinking setting? We are looking for an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join a cluster of ambitious and supportive primary schools across Newport. Known for their innovative approaches and strong leadership, these schools are dedicated to supporting learners with complex needs, including ASD and ADHD, in nurturing environments. This opportunity includes both full-time roles (8:30 AM – 3:30 PM) and AM/PM options, offering flexibility to suit your lifestyle.

Requirements
The ideal Learning Support Assistant will have:
Experience of working with primary school-aged children
Experience of working with pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN), particularly ASD and ADHD
Experience in care or children’s residential settings
A passion for supporting the progress of children with additional learning needs
The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
