Vision for Education are looking to grow their SEND team to work within a specialist school in the Hungtindon area.

About the role

We are looking for a calm and nurturing Learning and Behaviour Support Assistant to support within specialist provisions in the Huntingdon area. The candidate will be dedicated, enthusiastic, calm under pressure and able to build positive relationships with pupils. The ability to work collaboratively with parents, class teachers and other professionals is also beneficial.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Learning and Behaviour Support Assistant you will:
  • Have a range of behaviour management skills and be able to adapt learning methods to meet the needs of pupils
  • Be resilient, engaging, and friendly
  • Have relevant SEN knowledge

Salary

£65 to £80 per day

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Hold a DBS on the update service, or be willing to process one with us
  • Have experience working with children or young people in the last 2 years
