The School and Role

This Primary School in Alnwick (NE66) is currently seeking a driven KS2 Teacher to work on a full-time basis from September 2026. The KS2 Teacher appointed for this position will be covering part of a maternity leave until Christmas, in a Year 4 classroom. Throughout this placement, there will be full class teacher responsibilities (planning, marking and assessment). This is a slightly-larger-than-average primary school, where staff work together to ensure all children have good learning opportunities. There is parking on site for all staff.

Requirements

The desired KS2 Primary Teacher will have;

- Experience of working with primary school aged children

- Experience of working with pupils with SEND

- A passion for the progress of primary school pupils

- An ability to work as part of a team
