£600 – £1192 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role
This Primary School in the Gateshead area (NE10) is currently looking to recruit a KS2 Primary Teacher to work on a full-time basis from January 2026. The successful KS2 Teacher will be working in a mixed Year 5/6 class, where some pupils have lower attainment and/or SEND. There will be full responsibility attached to this role in terms of planning and assessment, and there are other Upper KS2 teachers to support with this. This is a Primary School where staff work together to create meaningful opportunities for pupils.
Requirements
The desired KS2 Primary Teacher will have;
- Experience of working with primary school aged children
- Experience of working with pupils with SEND
- A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
- An ability to work as part of a team
