KS1 Teaching Assistant – North Tyneside
Salary: £444.60 – £475 per week
Hours: Monday to Friday | 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
We’re looking for committed KS1 Teaching Assistants to support young learners in a friendly, inclusive primary school in North Tyneside. If you’re passionate about helping children achieve their potential and enjoy working in a nurturing environment, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities
- Provide one-to-one and small group support, including for pupils with SEND
- Help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment
- Encourage independence, confidence, and progress in every child
- Support learning outcomes in line with school standards

- Experience supporting KS1 or primary-aged pupils
- Knowledge of SEND and inclusive support strategies
- A caring, adaptable, and professional approach
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
