Vision for Education are seeking to employ a Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant (KS1 TA) to work in a fantastic primary setting in West Newcastle.

About the role

This job role is set to begin ASAP until July 2022 and is a full-time vacancy of which the working hours are 08:45-15:30pm. The ideal candidate will be confident, motivated, and knowledgeable of the Key Stage 1 Curriculum. They will be offering general support to a class of 30 pupils, all working at varying levels with a high level of SEND. The TA will be expected to offer in class support, supervise during some break duties and work between classes at times if additional support is needed.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Key Stage One Teaching Assistant (KS1 TA) you will:
  • • Hold a minimum of Level 2 Supporting Teaching and Learning Qualification.
  • • Have experience within Key Stage 1 and good knowledge of the Curriculum.
  • • Preferably have experience of Phonics within the classroom.
  • • Able to offer creative and dynamic teaching styles.

Salary

£70 to £75 per day

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Level 2 Qualification in Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
