Vision for Education are looking to appoint a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to work at a First School in Newcastle.

About the role

This is a part-time role, working three full days per week, 08:30-15:30 and is set to commence in May 2022 with potential to continue for the rest of the academic year. The ideal candidate will have experience of supporting within the classroom. They will be working across Key Stage 2 offering in class general support, as well as small group interventions based on the core subjects of Mathematics and English.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant (KS2 TA) you will:
  • • Have had experience of supporting children with diverse needs.
  • • Hold a minimum of Level 3 Qualification in Teaching and Learning.
  • • Be able to work independently and as part of a team to support pupils learning and development.
  • • Have an excellent understanding of the Key Stage 2 Curriculum.

Salary

£69 to £75 per day

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
