Vision for Education are looking to appoint a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to work full-time at a Primary School in Newcastle.

About the role

This role is set to commence in May 2022 until July 2022, working 08:00-16:00pm. The Teaching Assistant will be working across Key Stage 2 offering general support within the classroom. The role will include, supporting pupils in a variety of different subjects, listening to readers and offering two Mathematics and English intervention groups throughout the week to children working just below the expected level.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant (KS2 TA) you will:
  • • Have excellent knowledge of the Key Stage 2 Curriculum.
  • • Hold a minimum of Level 2 Qualification in Teaching and Learning.
  • • Preferably have experience of undertaking reading interventions.
  • • Be able to act independently as well as part of a team.

Salary

£69 to £73 per day

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Level 2 Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
