Vision for Education are seeking to employ a Key Stage 2 Teacher (KS2) to work at a Primary School in Newcastle.

About the role

This is a part-time role working 20 hours per week, working predominately within lower KS2 covering in Year 3 and 4. This role is set to commence near the end of March 2022 and will be continuing on an ongoing basis. The Key Stage 2 Teacher will be confident with delivery and planning of the Curriculum and be able to effectively communicate with the class teacher with regards to pupil progress and the topics covered. The successful candidate will be expected to teach all core and foundation subjects and have excellent behaviour management skills, acting in line with the school’s values and ethos.

The Primary School is set in Newcastle and is supported by an outstanding leadership and teaching team. All pupils within the setting are excited to learn on a daily basis, presenting excellent behaviour and engagement during lesson times.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Key Stage 2 Teacher you will:
  • • Hold a minimum of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • • Have extensive knowledge of the Key Stage 2 Curriculum.
  • • Be confident teaching across year groups.
  • • Able to plan, deliver and mark all work to a high standard.
  • • Be able to mark in line with the school’s marking policy.

Salary

£90 to £213 per day

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
