Vision for Education is looking to appoint a Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant (KS1 TA) to join our successful supply team and work in a local primary school near Cramlington, Northumberland.

About the role

This is a long-term Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant (KS1 TA) role which will commence as soon as possible until the end of the academic year. This position will be full-time, and working hours will be 8:30 – 15:30, Monday to Friday.

Working as part of a dynamic Key Stage 1 team, the successful Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant (KS1 TA) will focus on delivering full classroom support to the Year 2 class.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant you will:
  • • Hold a minimum of a Level 2 qualification in a childcare-related field.
  • • Have a patient, empathetic and nurturing nature.
  • • Have experience of working as a Teaching Assistant before.
  • • Key Stage 1 (KS1) experience would be desirable.
  • • Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff.

Salary

£350 to £400 per week

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Level 2 qualification in childcare-related field.
