The School and Role

Northern Lights Learning Trust are looking to appoint a skilled and motivated IT Technician to join their growing IT team, supporting multiple school sites across the Trust.

Working as part of a wider IT team and reporting to the Trust IT Lead, the successful IT Technician will provide first line support across a range of schools within the Trust (hub location: South Schools). You will play a key role in ensuring a high-quality, secure and reliable IT service that supports staff, leadership teams and pupils.

This is a full-time, permanent role, with flexibility to consider temporary cover where required.

Requirements

To be considered for the IT Technician position, you will have:

  • Experience working in an IT support or technician role (education experience desirable)
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Confidence supporting users with varying levels of IT knowledge
  • Good understanding of hardware, software and basic networking
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work across multiple sites
  • A proactive, adaptable approach and the ability to work well within a team
