Vision for Education is working on behalf of a welcoming and community-focused secondary school in Coniston, located in the heart of the beautiful Lake District, to recruit a passionate and dedicated History Teacher. This role is set to begin in September 2025, covering a staff resignation, and will initially be on a temporary basis, with the possibility of leading to a permanent position for the right candidate.

The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic History Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking Humanities department. The ideal candidate will:

• Possess strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for History.

• Be capable of delivering engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

• Inspire and motivate students to achieve their best, both academically and personally.

• Play an active role in the wider school community and uphold high standards of behaviour and learning.
